Overview

Professor Leticia Hernández hosts a one-of-a-kind poetry event on Wednesday, Ocotber 9th!

This poetry panel, part of the national humanities initiative, Latino Poetry Project: Places We Call Home, will present an exploration of 'home' through the lens of Salvadoran poets, Claudia Castro Luna (Seattle, WA), M.K. Chávez (Oakland, CA) & Alexandra Lytton-Regalado (El Salvador). These writers will read from their work & engage in a discussion on themes such as first & second homes, eco-consciousness, gentrification, & what home means to them.

This will be a two-part event. (12:30-1:30 PM & 2-3 PM) SFSU HUM 133 & on Zoom.
