Jennifer Beach
( She/Her/Hers )I love teaching college students and I am deeply interested in learning about my students and supporting them on their journeys. My classes offer opportunities to strengthen writing and reading skills in ways that will support your academic, professional and personal growth and I am eager to watch my students foster your full creative selves. I have a B.A. in Womens' Studies and an M.A. in English Literature and 2 teaching certificates: one in Teaching Post-Secondary Composition and one in Teaching Post-Secondary Reading. I did all of that academic work at SF State and am very proud of my time here. In my free time I love to hike, take pictures, read, write and work with close friends building a movement for social justice. My other job is as co-director of Prison Radio, a small nonprofit in the Mission District committed to bringing the voices of people living in prison into the public debate. If you want to learn more about me, check out my entry in Portfolium.
Please consult your course syllabus or contact the instructor directly for office hours.
