Gurleen Babra
( She/Her/Hers )Gurleen Babra is an MA Literature student at San Francisco State University. She did her Masters and M.Phil. Program in English from Panjab University, India. Her research interest revolves around critical race theory, ethnic studies, and biopolitics. Her M.Phil. Dissertation was titled, “Revisiting Foucauldian Biopolitics: Roberto Esposito’s Concept of Immunization in Selected Dystopic Fiction.’
Gurleen has presented papers at the Fall 2022 and Spring 2024 Graduate Literature Association (GLA) conferences, among other colloquiums.
Her scholarly work has appeared in Contemporary Literature in English: Recent Perspectives, Trends and Issues in Contemporary Literature, New Horizons: A Multidisciplinary Research Journal (Volumes: XV and XIII), and SFSU English Department’s Journal Interpretations, Volume 35
