Jennifer Seibel Trainor is the author of several articles on critical pedagogy and multiculturalism, assignment design and student engagement. Her book, Rethinking Racism: Emotion, Persuasion, and Literacy Education in an All-White Suburban High School (SIUP 2008) won the MLA’s Mina Shaughnessy Prize for scholarship in composition. She teaches undergraduate writing courses and graduate courses on literacy, critical pedagogy, and composition pedagogy.
