Professor Parker is coming from Holy Names University where she taught English, integrative studies, and environmental racism for the last 3-4 years. She received her Master of Art degree in creative writing along with teaching certificates in composition and reading here, from SF State. She is passionate about equity issues, the power of language, and how education can catapult the life trajectories of her students.
