Samuel Grant

Hello, I'm Samuel Grant! I graduated from SFSU back in Spring 2023 with a BA in English Education and decided to come back and pursue an MA in English Composition, as I hope to teach English at the Community College level in the future. In my free time, I love to play videogames, read, play trading card games like Magic the Gathering, or dive back into one of my many other hobbies. English classes in High School and Community College dramatically changed the trajectory of my life. They helped give me language to express myself and my feelings, and to also better understand the world around me and to engage with it. It's my goal to meet students where they are at in their writing and to help them improve wherever they are needing support without judgement, and to hopefully create an enjoyable environment for students to work in along the way.
